Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement & Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of office furniture, acoustic booths, and seating solutions by Sky Office Furniture Manufacturing LLC ("Supplier," "We," "Us") to the entity or individual purchasing the goods ("Client," "Buyer").
By placing an order via email, WhatsApp, or signing a proforma invoice, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Manufacturing & Custom Orders
As a direct manufacturer, many of our products (including office sofas and meeting pods) are "Made-to-Order."
2.1 Specifications
The Client is responsible for verifying all dimensions, colors (fabric codes), and finishes listed in the Quotation/Invoice before confirmation. We are not liable for errors in dimensions provided by the Client.
3. Pricing, VAT & Payment Terms
3.1 Currency & Tax
All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017, a 5% VAT will be applied to all invoices unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment Schedule
Unless a credit facility has been approved in writing:
- Standard Orders: 50% Advance Payment to initiate production, 50% Balance prior to delivery.
- Custom/Bulk Orders: 100% Advance may be required for highly specialized materials.
Production timelines commence only after the receipt of the Advance Payment and signed drawings.
4. Delivery & Installation
4.1 Delivery Timelines
Lead times (e.g., 7-10 working days) are estimates based on current factory capacity in Umm Al Quwain. While we strive to meet these dates, delays caused by raw material shortages or Force Majeure are not grounds for penalty.
4.2 Site Access
The Client must ensure the installation site (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc.) is ready and accessible. If goods cannot be delivered due to site restrictions, storage fees may apply after 7 days.
4.3 Inspection
Upon delivery, the Client (or their representative) must inspect the goods. Any damages or shortages must be noted on the Delivery Note (DN) immediately. Claims made more than 48 hours after delivery may not be honored.
5. Product Warranty
We stand by the quality of our UAE-manufactured furniture.
- Structural Warranty (5 Years): Covers manufacturing defects in frames and internal structures.
- Mechanism Warranty (2 Years): Covers gas lifts, castors, and reclining mechanisms.
- Upholstery Warranty (1 Year): Covers stitching and fabric/leather defects under normal office use.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by improper cleaning agents.
6. Returns & Cancellation Policy
6.1 Custom Orders
In compliance with UAE Consumer Protection regulations regarding "custom-made" goods, orders for customized furniture (specific sizes, colors, fabrics) cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started.
6.2 Stock Items
Standard stock items may be returned within 7 days in original packaging, subject to a 25% restocking fee and collection charges.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Umm Al Quwain.
